Hi Advocate,

Last week, Gov. Kasich outlined his plan for the mid-biennium review (MBR). We figured you may be wondering what’s in it and how it could impact health, human services, and early care & education in Ohio. This is your opportunity to learn more!

You are invited to a webinar, “The MBR,” on Thursday, March 29 from 3-4 p.m.

The purpose of the webinar is to discuss the MBR and how it relates to health, human services, and early childhood & education in Ohio. We will also share Advocates for Ohio’s Future’s MBR advocacy platform and other resources to help you talk to your representatives and senators throughout the process.

We need your help to strengthen our communities and be a voice for vital public services across the state.

We will hear from a number of statewide experts, including:

• Joel Potts, Executive Director of the Ohio Job & Family Services Directors’ Association (OJFSDA)
• Teresa Lampl, Associate Director at The Ohio Council of Behavioral Health & Family Services Providers
• Katie Kelly, Director of groundWork and Public Policy Fellow at The Center for Community Solutions

The coming weeks will be critical to ensure that the Governor and the legislature strengthen Ohio’s communities and maintain investments in vital public services.
