After the election we have a lot of work to do to educate our elected officials about a major health care decision in Ohio. Because of the Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Ohio must decide whether to expand the Medicaid program to include Ohioans up to 138% of the federal poverty level. The expansion would impact Ohio’s economy, health care systems, and individual Ohioans.
Join us for a webinar on the value of the Medicaid expansion on Tuesday, November 27 from 3-4 p.m.
Register here for the webinar.
We’ll hear from Medicaid and health care policy experts, including:
-Cathy Levine, Executive director of the United Health Care Action Network of Ohio (UHCAN Ohio)
-Col Owens, Senior Attorney for Legal Aid of Southwest Ohio
-Gene King, Director of the Ohio Poverty Law Center
The purpose of the webinar is to learn more about the value of the Medicaid expansion and how it could impact Ohio. We will also share resources to help you talk about the issue in your community.
