Three new organizations are joining the Steering Committee of Advocates for Ohio’s Future.
The Juvenile Justice Coalition, Ohio Association of Goodwill Industries and Ohio Federation of Teachers will join AOF’s leadership team of health and human services advocates that set AOF’s policy agenda and work together to improve the lives of all Ohioans.
Meet the New Members:
Juvenile Justice Coalition works to ensure that Ohio’s juvenile justice system works effectively to increase positive outcomes for youth, families and communities by supporting efforts to reduce youth’s involvement with the juvenile justice system that are community-based, research informed, culturally appropriate, and put all of Ohio’s youth on a path to success.
Ohio Association of Goodwill Industries is made up of 16 independent, not-for-profit organizations that strive to put people to work. Each Goodwill offers quality programs to meet the unique needs of individuals in the counties it serves and its strong retail program allows Goodwills to positively affect the economy and supplement funding for programs.
Ohio Federation of Teachers is a union of professionals representing 20,000 members in 55 locals across the state that include public school educations and support staff, higher education faculty and support staff, and public employees that advocates for sound, commonsense public education policies.
