At Advocates for Ohio's Future, we are always thinking about ways to bring you timely policy updates and advocacy news. Over the past year, our educational webinars
have averaged nearly 200 participants, we launched a weekly newsletter
to deliver the latest news straight to your inbox, and our recent report
brought attention to the high cost of being poor and how lawmakers can move Ohio closer to an economy that works for everyone.
Your support enables us to provide valuable education like this and more to advocates across the state. Your support also helps us collaborate with individual supporters and organizations. We continue to build a statewide network of advocates to carry a unified message to influence the public, elected officials, and ultimately, budget and policy priorities. Our collective efforts really do make a difference, especially as we go into negotiations for the next state budget.
We know when families can pay for the basics, including food, housing, health care, education, child care and transportation, that spending strengthens the economy and supports local business. We also know Ohio has the potential to be a great place for all Ohioans to live and work. Ohio’s budget and public policy priorities can make Ohioans more competitive, create good jobs, and make Ohio’s economy stronger, but we have a ways to go to make this vision a reality.
Your Support Makes Our Work Possible!
In order for us to continue this critical work we are asking you to make a donation to Advocates for Ohio’s Future. This year, you have an opportunity for your gift to have an even bigger impact – your donation will be matched dollar for dollar
through a matching campaign through the George Gund Foundation (up to $10,000). That means that your commitment of $25 becomes $50 and $50 becomes $100, all going towards our advocacy for great public services in Ohio.
Will you donate today to help us advocate for reinvesting in Ohio and our communities in the next state budget?
You can either click here to donate online
or send me a check. Checks must be made out to Public Children Services Association of Ohio
, our fiscal agent, but should indicate Advocates for Ohio's Future in the memo line. Please mail your check to:
