Health Care & Medicaid
- 1115 Waiver: Open for Comment
- The Group VIII Work Requirement & Community Engagement 1115 Demonstration Waiver is now open for comment on the CMS website through June 14. This waiver would impose work requirements on non-exempt individuals covered through Medicaid via the Group VIII expansion. Advocates for Ohio's Future strongly believes that if implemented, the waiver would reduce access to health care, reduce positive health outcomes for Ohioans using Medicaid, and reduce the efficiency while increasing the costs of the Medicaid program. AOF will provide comments during this federal comment period. For more information about the waiver, please see UHCAN Ohio's summary here. You may also have UHCAN Ohio submit your comments here.
